BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - As the 2024 season draws closer, Indiana is preparing to have one of its deepest, most talented wide receiver rooms in recent memory.
Part of that room is Andison Coby, who is entering his third season in Bloomington after transferring from Tennessee after the 2021 season.

2023 Season Recap
After a productive first season in Bloomington, Coby had a tumultuous second season for the Hoosiers.
The 6-foot-1, 178 pound receiver corralled five receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown last season for the Hoosiers.
Coby's lone touchdown grab last year was a 16-yard grab late in the week five loss at Maryland.
It was a deep drop down from his 18 receptions for 237 and a touchdown during the 2022 campaign.
Despite appearing in all 12 games last season, Coby never earned a start, as he was behind the likes of Donovan McCulley, Duquence Carter, and Cam Camper.
At the end of the season, the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native found himself on the sidelines the majority of the offensive drives, not receiving a single target in the final two games of the regular season.
2024 Season Outlook
In his first few months leading the program, Curt Cignetti has brought talent into the wide receiver room, including JMU transfer Elijah Sarratt and Texas Tech's Myles Price.
Additionally, Cignetti and his staff persuaded standout wideout Donovan McCulley to take his name out of the transfer portal and return back to Bloomington.
With those three as the top weapons offensively for the Hoosiers, it will be tough for guys like Coby to get consistent reps during the 2024.
Coby will most likely be vying for reps with the likes of EJ Williams Jr., Omar Cooper Jr., Miles Cross, and Ke'Shawn Williams.
Although opportunities will be at a minimum, the fifth-year senior had an eye-catching spring season that was capped off with multiple highlight reel plays with the second team in the spring game at Memorial Stadium.
There is optimism that Coby can return to his 2022 form and have a solid season for Cignetti's offense in year one.
From Cignetti
Cignetti has yet to specifically comment on Coby this offseason, however he did mention “Andison made a play or two” following the wideouts impressive display in the Hoosiers’ spring game.
