Coming off a big win against Washington on Tuesday night, Northern Illinois came into Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with some momentum. The Hoosiers knew they weren't playing the same "early season get right game" they thought they had in the pre-season, and they had to bring it.

They did.

Indiana suffocated Northern Illinois on the defensive side of the ball Friday night. Nine blocks, topping last season's high of eight. Seven of those blocks came from a pretty familiar face.
