Indiana goes on the road for the first time in the young 2022-23 season on Friday as it takes on the Xavier Musketeers in the Gavitt Games.
Led by Sean Miller in his first season, the Musketeers come into the matchup at 3-0 and are averaging 86.7 points per game and an adjusted offensive efficiency of 110.1 -- 27th in the NCAA. It's a high-powered offense that is extremely effective and terrific at shooting the ball. Xavier shoots 55.6 percent from the field as a team (10th in the NCAA), 45.5 percent from three (18th) and have an effective field goal rate of 61.5 percent (16th). Defensively, they are solid across the board but not great in any category -- ranking 58th in defensive efficiency with a 93.1 rating.
