Indiana head coach Tom Allen has found his new offensive coordinator.
According to a report from VolQuest.com Associate Editor Rob Lewis, Indiana will hire Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord to the same position. Debord replaces former coordinator Kevin Johns, who was relieved of his duties on Monday.
IU will formally announce the hire tomorrow, a source told TheHoosier.com.
Debord spent two seasons as Tennessee's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach after being hired by Vols head coach Butch Jones on Feb. 6, 2015.
This past season, Tennessee finished fifth in total offensive and second in scoring offense in the SEC. Overall, Debord has 30 years of coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball including coaching in 15 bowl games.
