According to a report from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, former Drexel and UMass coach Bruiser Flint will join Archie Miller's staff at Indiana as an assistant coach.
Flint recently took a year off from basketball after being let go as Drexel's head coach in 2016, the end of a 15-year run at the helm of that program. That year off included a visit with Indiana's previous coaching staff last October.
He also spent five years at UMass prior to his tenure at Drexel.
Over the course of his 20-year head coaching career, Flint compiled a record of 331-289 with two NCAA tournament appearances and one conference regular season title.
A program spokesperson said IU won't official name new assistant coaches until next week.
