Mike Hart, Formerly At Syracuse, To Join IU Staff As Running Back Coach

IU head coach Tom Allen is expected to announce the addition of former Syracuse running back coach Mike Hart to fill the same position with the Hoosiers.

Hart replaces Deland McCullough, who left the program last week for USC.

Hart spent last season coaching running backs at Syracuse and previously worked on the staffs at Western Michigan (2014-15) and Eastern Michigan (2011-13). He played at Michigan before getting drafted by the Colts in 2008 and spending three years in the NFL.

While at Michigan, Hart played for new IU offensive coordinator Mike DeBord.

The Hoosiers begin spring practice Saturday.
