As Indiana exits its first bye week of the season with a 3-2 record and enters a crucial four-game stretch before its next bye, the staff addressed the media to preview the first matchup of the second chunk of 2019.
Indiana head coach Tom Allen, offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer and defensive coordinator Kane Wommack all addressed the media at podiums for the weekly football press conference Monday in Memorial Stadium to recap the bye week and preview Rutgers.
Allen and the staff touched on:
- Freshman cornerback Tiawan Mullen's skillset
- Rutgers players redshirting with the intent to transfer
- Redshirt freshman quarterback Mike Penix and his development
- True freshman left tackle Matt Bedford and the offensive line's development
