Indiana's non-conference matchup with Kansas as part of the Amred Forces Classic will now be played at the Stan Sheriff Center on the University of Hawaii's Campus, ESPN announced Thursday.

The Armed Forces classic was originally scheduled to be played at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, but a change of venue was made in order to "provide basketball fans of both the military and the community an opportunity to see the games up close," according to the release.

“ESPN is honored to continue the tradition of the Armed Forces Classic,” said Clint Overby, ESPN vice president of events. “We celebrate the men and women of the Navy in Hawaii as well as those who serve around the world. We are excited to stage the event in conjunction with the leadership at Pearl Harbor and feel that the basketball venue at the Stan Sheriff Center provides a great backdrop for these great teams.”

The Armed Forces Classic will still take place in Honolulu on Veteran's Day - Nov. 11 - with Arizona and Michigan State tipping off the action at 7 p.m. ET (2 p.m. HT), followed by IU and Kansas at 9 p.m. ET. (4 p.m. HT). Both games will air on ESPN.

According to the release, the Stan Sheriff Center is a multiple-purpose arena which can seat up to 10,300 people. The original venue - Blach Arena - has a max capacity of 4,000.
