Indiana has flipped 2022 Tennessee tight end commit Brody Foley, per his high school coach Evan Dreyer. Foley had been committed to Tennessee since May.
The Anderson (OH) High School tight end is ranked as the No. 31 tight end in the Rivals250 class of 2022 rankings. He is ranked No. 31 in the state of Ohio.
Foley originally had offers from Auburn, Louisville, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Minnesota, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Purdue and more.
Foley is a 6-foot-6 and 230-pound athletic tight end. He has solid ball skills and has a really good ability to catch the ball in traffic. With his solid frame, he is a mismatch on the outside and has decent speed for his size. He also is a good blocker at the position.
"They (Indiana) like my size and athletic ability. They also like my blocking and ability to play other spots like a flex back and wide receiver," Foley previously told TheHoosier.com.
Foley joins fellow Ohio tight end Ryan Miller as the two players at the position in the 2022 recruiting class.
Indiana was looking for some extra additions to the tight end room after losing Peyton Hendershot to the NFL Draft. Hendershot ended his career as the all-time program leader amongst tight ends with 136 receptions and 1,479 yards. He ranks second with 14 touchdowns.
