The first July live session took place over the weekend and the Indiana basketball staff was very active on the road. All four coaches were at events all weekend, including head coach Mike Woodson.
The Indiana staff had at least two members of its staff at the Nike EYBL event three out of the four days and assistant coach Yasir Rosemond was there every single day. Mike Woodson bounced around from Nike EYBL to Adidas 3SSB and spent one night in Atlanta to see No. 2 overall prospect in the 2023 class Xavier Booker. Assistants Kenya Hunter and Brian Walsh were out splitting time mainly between Nike EYBL and Adidas 3SSB.
There were some new names to pop up on the radar and visits set. Here are the main takeaways from the first live session.
