Hoosiers land Florida DB

Three-star prospect Brandon Drayton from Largo (FL) Largo H.S. has committed to Indiana today according to Largo head coach Marcus Paschal. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety is the 15th commit for Kevin Wilson and his staff in the 2016 recruiting class, and the third one from the Sunshine State.

Drayton initially committed to the Nebraska in late November, but opened things back up again not long after. The talented prospect is from the same high school as current Indiana players Jonathan Crawford and Donavan Hale.

The athletic safety chose the Hoosiers over offers from Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Miami (FL), Louisville, Syracuse, Colorado, South Florida, Marshall, Toledo, South Alabama, Georgia Southern and Liberty.

Peegs.com will have more on this developing story.
