IU head coach Tom Allen hired former Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord to the same position at Indiana earlier this week.

Over 35 years of coaching, DeBord has touched the lives of plenty whether they be players or coaches. Indiana Athletics released a trio of quotes from a few of DeBord's more high-profile colleagues.

Tom Brady: "Mike was my offensive OC in college and helped me develop as a QB. He has great knowledge in offensive FB and QB development."

DeBord and Brady worked together at Michigan from 1997-99. Brady went on to be drafted in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL Draft and has gone on to become one of the most dominant quarterbacks in NFL history.

Mike Holmgren: "Mike was a great team guy on the staff and his outstanding football knowledge helped me in so many ways!"

Holmgren and DeBord worked breifly together with the Seattle Sahawks in 2008-09 when Holmgren was the head coach and DeBord was an assistant coach. The Seahawks went 4-12 in 2008.

Adam Gase: "Mike coaches with a great deal of enthusiasm and passion and does an excellent job teaching quarterbacks."

Gase is currently the head coach of th eMiami Dolphins.
