ESPN college basketball commentator and radio host Dan Dakich will host his own version of GameDay on Saturday prior to the Indiana-Ohio State football game at Memorial Stadium.
The former IU basketball player and coach will host the event from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. It will be live streamed online, shown on Smithville Channel 1 and will be live streamed in several gathering places, including Joe's on Weed Street in Chicago.

ESPN is also bringing cameras, Dakich said.
Indiana students will be heavily involved in the broadcast. IU student Oliva DeWeese is scheduled to be the co-host and IU students are scheduled to run cameras among other duties, Dakich said.
"We want the event to feel at least a little like ESPN's GameDay while telling as best we can the story of this year's IU football team and setting up the game," Dakich said.
Students and fans are encouraged to bring signs, just as happens with ESPN's flagship GameDay program that broadcasts each week from a college football setting.
Members of a number of IU athletic teams are expected to be a part of the event.
GameDay itself considered broadcasting from the Ohio State-Indiana game before picking Notre Dame-Clemson, GameDay producer Lee Fitting said.
The IU football team is 4-0 for the first time in 25 years and Ohio State is ranked No. 1 and the defending national champion.
The IU football team has plenty of storylines, including quarterback Nate Sudfeld's humanitarian work in Uganda, running back Jordan Howard leading the nation in rushing yards after being displaced by the dissolution of the UAB program, an offensive line with multiple NFL prospects, the emergence of young defensive playmakers such as Jonathan Crawford and more.
Indiana athletic director Fred Glass said he thinks the 'Dakich GameDay idea is terrific and addressed previous GameDay conversation.
"We didn't have any direct discussions. We tracked what they were doing. We knew where we were in the pecking order. It would have been awesome," Glass said this afternoon on the Dan Dakich radio show on 1070 The Fan, adding he agreed with IU football coach Kevin Wilson's comments that IU wasn't quite to that level yet.
Glass later added: "We're going to have a hell of lot of fun … when you come down for Dakich GameDay."
Former IU great Anthony Thompson and former IU coach Bill Mallory will be a part of the show, Dakich said.
UPDATE: Due to a larger than anticipated crowd, Dakich GameDay will move to the west side of Assembly Hall parking lot between Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
