Alex Krupa's big week got noticed.

The senior outfielder was named the Big Ten's Baseball Player of the Week after he hit .533 with two doubles, a triple, three RBIs, five runs, a stolen base and three multi-hit games as IU took three-of-four games from Hawaii.

For the season, Krupa leads Indiana with a .356 batting average over 16 games, 11 of which were starts. The second-year Hoosier after transferring in from junior college also got 18 putouts without an error defensively.
