Class of 2018 three-star Georgia outside linebacker Aaron Casey is a Hoosier.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker/defensive back from Douglasville (Ga.) Alexander High announced his verbal pledge to the Hoosiers Monday evening, becoming the sixth member of the 2018 recruiting class.

"I will be committing 100% to Indiana University," Casey tweeted early Tuesday afternoon.

The No. 80 overall prospect in the state of Georgia, Casey joins three-star Illinois offensive tackle Nick Marozas, three-star Illinois tight end Matt Bjorson, two-star Tennessee wide receiver Jacolby Hewitt, three-star Lowell (Ind.) High defensive back Jordan Jusevitch and three-star South Carolina cornerback Elijah Rodgers in IU's 2018 recruiting class. Casey is the second commitment in as many days in the 2018 class for the Hoosiers, as Marozas verbally committed Monday night.

Casey chose the Hoosiers over offers from Appalachian State, Iowa State, Rutgers, UCF and West Virginia, among others.

Casey posted 84 total tackles, three interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery while playing both safety and linebacker during his junior season, helping Alexander to a 10-2 overall record and Class AAAAAA Quadrant 4 semifinals appearance.
