IU head women's basketball coach Teri Moren is heading to another Hall of Fame.

Already a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Moren was selected as one of the 15 inaugural members of the Seymour High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class, as announced Monday.

Moren graduated from Seymour High School in 1987 and is about to enter her fourth season leading the Hoosiers.

"I am truly honored and grateful to receive this honor from the people of Seymour High School, a place I have so many special memories," Moren said in a release. "I would like to offer my congratulations to all the other inductees and continue to be a proud Owl alum."

A committee chose the inductees after a public nomination period that began last August. The pool of potential candidates were taken from those athletes or teams that had completed high school at least 20 years ago. Coaches needed to have at least 10 years of school service.

Moren helped Seymour to four sectional championships, two regional championships, a semi-state win and a 1987 appearance in the state finals. She was an Indiana All-Star as a senior before heading to play at Purdue.

Moren is helping push IU to new program highs that included an NCAA Tournament appearance two seasons ago and a WNIT Quarterfinals appearance just last season. She was the 2015-16 Big Ten Coach of the Year.
