• Left IU in April and spent the fall semester at Independence Community College in Kansas.

• Took an official visit to IU the weekend of Dec. 14.

Recruiter of record:

Defensive line coach Mark Hagen.

Scouting report:

• Size allows him to easily overpower offensive linemen and be disruptive against the run

• Versatile enough to play on both sides of the line of scrimmage

• Although his size (367 pounds) is a strength, it is also something that will need to be managed effectively.

2019 projection:

Indiana needs bodies along the defensive line and Harris is a familiar name, having previously played for the program before leaving in April.
