Harry Crider won't be playing college football too far away from his Columbus, Indiana, home after deciding in the middle of August to be a Hoosier.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound offensive lineman's recruitment began to heat up after his junior season. At Indiana, he found the right fit.

But just who is Harry Crider anyway?

TheHoosier.com caught up with Crider to discuss a few off-the-field topics to try and get to know him a little better.

Q: What stood out the most about your first trip to Bloomington?

A: Probably how great (offensive line) Coach (Greg) Frey is going to be. He's definitely hard on his players, and he's a unique character. He's not afraid to let a few cuss words fly, but he definitely gets the job done. He's a great, funny coach. I'm looking forward to playing for him.

Q: If you could play with or against one player, who would it be?

A: I'd have to go with blocking for Peyton Manning back there at quarterback, especially with me being a center. He's a great quarterback and a great leader. (Former Colts Center) Jeff Saturday has been kind of an idol for me being from Indiana. So yeah, definitely Peyton Manning.

Q: If I told you that you could only bring one thing with you to your dorm, what would it be?

A: Oh, that's tough. I'd probably have to go with underwear.

That's a pretty useful thing to bring.

A: Yeah, I don't know what I'd do without it.

Q: Do you know what you're going to study in school yet?

A: I'm either going to try to get into the business field at Kelley or study biology.

Q: Outside of football, what do you like to do the most?

A: I'm a big sports guy and also play baseball. I'll be doing that in the spring, too.

But I'm also kind of an outdoorsman. I enjoy hiking, hunting, kayaking and that sort of thing.

Q: What's the most adventurous or exciting thing you've ever done?

A: Actually, this last winter break I went to Colorado to snowboard. That was a really, really thrilling experience. I can definitely say it's not my speciality, but it was really fun.

Q: Do you have a favorite movie, television show or book?

A: My favorite movie of all time is "School of Rock."

Jack Black, man, there's nothing like it. He never fails to make me laugh.
