Fifth-year senior Dan Feeney continues to earn national recognition, and ESPN is the latest to show him love.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound offensive lineman, already recognized as a preseason First-Team All-American by ESPN and Sports Illustrated, among others, came in at No. 37 in ESPN's rankings of the Top 100 college football players for the upcoming season.

Players were ranked using a panel of the network's writers, editors and analysts. That panel rated players on a scale of 0-10 on their expected contributions.

The closer to 10 a player is, the more they are expected to contribute. Feeney earned a 7.93 rating from the panel.

ESPN Wisconsin and Big Ten reporter Jesse Temple, one of the panelists, had this to say about Feeney:

"Feeney is one of the best offensive linemen in the country and a favorite to close his final season as an All-American. He has allowed just one sack in 37 career starts, which spans 2,719 snaps. A year ago, he didn't surrender any sacks in 475 called pass attempts. He's as steady as they come on the line."
