Recruiter of record:

Linebackers coach Kane Wommack

Quotable:

“He’s an extremely talented football player and he has come a long way in his leadership, his maturity, his awareness and understanding of the game. To me, that’s been the most impressive part about his senior season. He’s matching his physical tools and his talents with the ability to be a positive leader on this team and the ability to be a more cerebral player, as well.” -Andrean head coach Chris Skinner to The Times of Northwest Indiana

Scouting report:

• Williams shows great athleticism and natural talent as a defender. He can play from sideline to sideline and dropped into coverage more this year.

• He can also rush the passer and showed that ability as a junior, although he would need to add weight to be a quality pass rusher in college.

2019 projection:

Williams will need to add some weight, as most freshman do, but he has the talent to see the field quickly. If he has a successful offseason, Williams will have the chance to crack the linebacker rotation. Early on in his career, he has the potential to be a menace on special teams, so it's hard not to see him playing in four games, even if he does redshirt.
