A 6-foot-3, 170 pound LHP, Swanson spent the first three years of his collegiate career close to home at Saint Francis.

Throughout his three seasons with the Cougars, Swanson has appeared in 44 games, starting 35 of them. He's racked up a total of 173.1 innings pitched and has a career 4.73 ERA.

The 2024 season, Swanson's junior campaign, was the best year of the Fort Wayne Snider High School product's career.

Swanson made 14 starts for the Cougars in 2024, tallying 74.2 innings pitched. Swanson went a career-best 10-2, while striking out a career-high 68 hitters.

Swanson's 2.65 ERA was also a career-best this past season at Saint Francis.

A LHP that keeps the ball in the yard -- the southpaw has surrendered just 10 home runs throughout his north of 170 innings pitched -- Swanson is yet another summer addition to the Hoosiers' overhauled pitching staff.

Swanson is now the sixth member of Indiana's incoming transfer class and the fourth pitcher.
