Honors/accomplishments:

• Named second-team All-Tampa Bay by The Tampa Bay Times.

• Ranked No. 18 in the Tampa Bay-Area Top 30 Recruits for the 2017 cycle by The Tampa Bay Times.

Recruitment:

Reece's reported offers include Purdue, Louisville, Iowa State and Duke among others.

Iowa State continued pushing for him even after he committed to Indiana, but the Hoosiers won out in the recruitment.

Took his official visit to Indiana over the Jan. 28 weekend.

Recruiter of record:

Had been recruited by former Indiana offensive line coach Greg Frey, who has since left for Michigan.

Quotable:

“When I first got here it was just an absolutely beautiful place. The scenery was amazing. What's it called, 'The Walk' that players go through before the games? That's what got me right there.

"When I was standing there looking at it and the view of the stadium with the trees in the background and everything, that captured me. I wanted to stay. It's a beautiful place and a great college town.

"And also, when I went up there I saw they have a Buffalo Wild Wings. That's one of my favorite places, and there's one not all that far away from the stadium. That was even more satisfying." — Tramar Reece

Scouting report:

• Good size for his position at 6-3, 220 pounds.

• Has great balance plus an ability to jump (evidenced by a blocked field goal as a senior.)

• Should improve as he continues to add more pass-rushing moves.

2017 projection:

Indiana returns a ton of production on the defensive line, so look for the Hoosiers to be able to bring Reece along at an appropriate pace.
