TheHoosier.com Staff

IU head coach Tom Crean and the Hoosiers host Houston Baptist on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

Check out our staff predictions for the game below.

Stu Jackson: Indiana 100, Houston Baptist 63 - Houston Baptist’s four losses have been to Texas Tech, New Mexico, Marquette and Rice by an average of 19 points per game. On top of that, the Huskies have allowed 90 or more points in each of those losses. That’s not going to bode well against a strong offensive team like the Hoosiers, who own the 13th-most efficient offense and 18th-most effective field goal percentage, according to KenPom. Indiana wins this one easily.

Jordan Wells: Indiana 95, Houston Baptist 65 - Indiana is one of the most efficient teams from the field in the country, and Houston Baptist gives upone of the worst shooting percentages in the country. Expect the Hoosiers to make a lot of buckets and at a high clip today.

Sam Beishuizen: Indiana 88, Houston Baptist 59 - KenPom rates Houston Baptist as one of the worst defenses in the country. Indiana is going to be well rested. That doesn’t bode well for the visitors. The Hoosiers should breeze to an easy win and keep the Simon Skojdt Assembly Hall win streak alive.

Additional Projections
