Morgan Ellison's big game against Rutgers didn't go unnoticed.

The Big Ten on Monday named the IU running back its Co-Freshmen of the Week, sharing honors with Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor. It's the second time Ellison has earned the recognition this season.

Ellison had his second 100-yard game of the season after recording 15 carries for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Hoosiers' 41-0 win over Rutgers last Saturday. It was his second career multi-touchdown game and second Freshman of the Week honor. Freshman wide receiver Whop Philyor was Indiana's most recent honoree (Oct. 30).

Ellison and the Hoosiers close at the regular season with the Old Oaken Bucket game against Purdue at noon ET on ESPN2 in West Lafayette, Ind.
