5-star senior forward LeRon Black and the top prospect on our Hoosier
2015 Hot Board, Malachi Richardson, both have narrowed their school

lists in the last 24 hours.
Black, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward at White Station High School in
Memphis, Tennessee, is ranked as the No. 22 overall player currently in
the Rivals150.
His mother Tola Black broke the news yesterday afternoon to the Memphis
Commercial Appeal newspaper (

link), telling reporter John Martin that Memphis and Florida had
been eliminated and that her son would choose between Illinois, Baylor,
Indiana and Tennessee. Further
tweets on subject by Martin.
Last month Black told Peegs.com that Indiana would be one of his stops
before his decision would become final.
"I'm not sure when I'm going to visit, but probably in the fall," Black
said.
Black added then that he plans to make a college decision in the fall
and will "most definitely" sign in November. Narrowing his recruitment
to only four programs could obviously help speed along his process.
The elimination of Memphis was not considered a big surprise as many
had believed Black was looking to leave his home base but the forward
had made an unofficial visit to Florida following a late July
tournament in Orlando. Also his high school teammate Chris Chiozza had
committed to the Gators during the spring.
Richardson to 12
As the No. 19 overall player in the Class of 2015, Malachi Richardson
has had no shortage of offers and interest. That may explain why the
6-foot-5 wing from Roselle, New Jersey decided late last night to
narrow his set of potential destinations to a dozen programs. Here's
his tweet from the evening:
No order ; cuse , Uconn,Indiana, north Carolina , Rutgers, Ohio

Richardson will be making his first trip to the Indiana campus in just
over a week, coming over the "Welcome Week" that extends through the
weekend of August 24th.
"I just want to learn more about the coaching staff, see the school and
see the facilities, meet some of the different guys that have come
through there and learn more about the school," Richardson told
Peegs.com earlier this month.
At the time the young prospect told us he also planned to make visits
to Georgetown, Syracuse, Connecticut and Ohio State in September but no
dates have been set up.
