For the second-consecutive morning, IU baseball won in dramatic fashion.

A three-run top of the 11th lifted the Hoosiers to an 8-5 win over Hawaii early Saturday morning in Honolulu.

Holding a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth, IU (9-7-1) would surrender two runs to tie the game and send it to extra innings.

After a scoreless 10th inning and freshman Matt Gorski striking out to start the 11th inning, Indiana regained the lead when senior outfielder Craig Dedelow hit a solo home run to right center. Senior infielder Austin Cangelosi hit a two-RBI triple to add to IU's lead for good.

Sophomore Matt Lloyd (2-0) got the victory in three innings of relief work. Hawaii's Brody Hagel-Pitt (0-1), who surrendered the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 11th, picked up the loss.

IU junior starter Brian Hobbie went six innings, allowing three runs off four hits while striking out six. Junior Austin Foote and senior Luke Stephenson were both strong in relief, each tossing one strikeout while allowing one hit in one inning.

Indiana is back in action tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET, seeking to sweep the series. Freshman Andrew Saalfrank (1-1, 4.19 ERA) will take on junior Jackson Rees (2-0, 3.13 ERA).
