Sheehey, Ferrell make USA team debut

Hoosier players Will Sheehey and Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell make their USA
team debut in Kazan, Russia today. The World University Games are

underway and the USA men's hoop team is opening up against the United
Arab Emirates (UAE).
Kazan is eight hours ahead of eastern time. The USA-UAE game is at
10:30 a.m. ET and will be carried live online by ESPN3 (link) and tape
delayed on ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET.

There are four pools of six teams each in the men's basketball
competition. The United States and UAE are joined by Australia, Canada,
Sweden and the Czech Republic in Pool C.
Here is the preliminary or pool round schedule for the USA team (times
in ET). Keep in mind that Kazan is 8 hours ahead of eastern time. We've
included rebroadast times in parantheses.
Sunday, July 7 -- vs. United
Arab Emirates at 10:30 am. ESPNU will show the game at 7 p.m. and again
on July 8th at 3 a.m. and July 9th at 5 a.m.
Monday, July 8 -- vs. Czech
Republic at 5 a.m. ESPNU will show live at 5 a.m. and tape delayed at 7
p.m. and July 9th at 3 a.m.
Wednesday, July 10 -- vs.
Sweden at 1 p.m. ESPNU will show the game at at 7 p.m. and again on
July 11th at 7 a.m.
Thursday, July 11 -- vs
Australia at 10:30 a.m. ESPNU will show the game at 7 p.m. and again on
July 13th at 5:30 a.m.
Friday, July 12 -- vs. Canada
at 5 a.m. ESPNU will show live at 5 a.m. and tape delayed at 7 p.m. and
again on July 13th at 3:30 a.m.
Quarterfinal play will begin on Sunday, July 14th. The semifinals will
be on Monday and tournament will conclude on Tuesday, July 16th.
