Staff Predictions

Taylor Lehman: Indiana 52, Charleston Southern 10 - Charleston Southern posted a total of 33 yards when it played Mississippi State in week one. There's no way it finds a way to beat the IU defense. I don't think IU will be taking its foot off the gas at any point in this game either. Not after how frustrated Tom Allen was after the Penn State game.

Stu Jackson: Indiana 42, Charleston Southern 7 - Much like the Georgia Southern game, just don’t see this one being close. Even if Indiana uses a limited playbook in Peyton Ramsey’s debut as the starting quarterback, the offense will still be effective enough to secure a victory. Additionally, with one of the best defenses in the Big Ten and nation coming to Bloomington next week, it’s doubtful the Hoosiers staff would want to tip its hand completely with how they play to adjust the offense to Ramsey’s skillset. This game will help Ramsey build chemistry with his teammates and help IU get closer to bowl eligibility.

Jordan Wells: Indiana 42, Charleston Southern 10 - No need to overanalyze this one. Charleston Southern is still seeking its first win against a full-time FBS opponent in 19 tries, although they did beat Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina while they were in-transition. Still, this is one the Hoosiers should pull off easily, and maybe give new quarterback starter Peyton Ramsey some added confidence heading into next week's home tilt against Michigan.
