Louisiana wide receiver has Hoosiers in his top three
At 6-foot-5, wide receiver Kody Finley is getting looks based on his size alone.
However, for the Indiana Hoosiers, it was a combination of his size and playmaking ability as the reason why Indiana offered the Ponchatoula High School (La.) wide receiver.
And that sits just fine with Finley, who told TheHoosier.com he is enjoying forming a relationship with the Indiana coaches, especially wide receivers coach Grant Heard.
"The things about Indiana that intrigue me from the jump was the great wide receiver coach. As of now, I see myself playing at the next level wherever God thinks is a fit for me because if God is happy with my choice, then it's the right one," Finley said.
Finley, whose brother, T.J. plays at LSU, said that the coaches at Indiana have told him how he could be a game changer, and he said hat has been "music to his ears."
"The things that I have been complimented on are my body control, my route running, my hands and my yards after catch," Finley said. "Anytime I get a call from coach, it is a sign to me from God to keep pushing and working and I am nothing but grateful."
