Indiana baseball this morning announced this afternoon's game vs. Western Illinois has been cancelled. Tomorrow's game vs. Western Illinois at 4:05 p.m. ET is still on as scheduled.

Fans who had purchased a ticket for Tuesday's game can bring it to any of the remaining regular season home games and exchange it at a ticket window for that contest, the program said.

"It has been a tough first week dealing with weather and playing baseball," IU head coach Chris Lemonis said in a statement posted to his Twitter account. "It is one of the hardest parts of the job and I am not a very good weatherman. In our sport we are trying to make the best decision for the student athletes on each particular day. Some days we get it right and some days we don't but we are trying to make the best decision.

"I know when we change times it makes it tough for fans who have work schedules. We have to weigh many factors when we make these decisions. Rain, wind, temperature and sun are big factors in our decisions. I appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you at the Bart! Thanks for all your support."
