A four-star class of 2016 point guard from Australia says he plans to visit Indiana.

William McDowell-White has Indiana and Michigan State on his list of schools he plans to visit, he told Paul Biancardi of ESPN and Eric Bossi of Rivals.com

McDowell-White is currently playing on the international team at the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore.

McDowell-White has visited Texas A&M, Arizona State and Fresno State, Biancardi reported.

McDowell-White is listed as a 6-foot-5, 185-pound guard from the Wishart school in Brisbane, Australia.

No date is set yet for an Indiana visit.

Wrote Jonathan Givony of Draft Express on Feb. 15 after McDowell-White played in the Basketball Without Borders event: “Top-shelf college prospect. Seems to be making significant strides with his basketball IQ and skill-level. Started off slow but was extremely impressive in the last two days of the camp. Size and passing ability gives him a chance to emerge as an interesting prospect down the road.”

McDowell-White averaged 7.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship.

"I feel like I could play the two if needed but I've played almost exclusively at the point for the last couple of years," McDowell-White told Rivals. "I have heart and a willingness to give up a good shot for myself for a great shot for somebody else."

Bossi also wrote:

McDowell-White has also been hearing from Indiana and Michigan State and said that he would like to make another visit or two before making a decision. But the clock is ticking.

"I think it might be good to take a few more visits to see what other programs offer," said McDowell-White. "But, I'd like to have a decision pretty soon because I want to be done with it."
