2021 four-star QB Donaven McCulley commits to IU

Indiana football received great news on Thursday as 2021 four-star in-state QB Donaven McCulley committed to Indiana.

The Lawrence North QB included Indiana in his top-five that was released in April, a list that included Purdue, Iowa, Ole Miss and Missouri.

McCulley threw for 1,958 yards with 17 touchdowns and just three interceptions while completing 62.5 percent of his passes last season. He also ran for 563 yards and two touchdowns.

The four-star QB will be another addition to an extremely young but talented quarterback room that already includes redshirt sophomore Michael Penix, redshirt sophomore Jack Tuttle and incoming freshman Dexter Williams.

McCulley is Indiana's ninth commitment in the class of 2021 and the Hoosiers highest recruit in the class.
