Leonard named to the Basketball Hall of Fame

Former Indiana standout Bobby "Slick" Leonard today was named to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

A two-time All-American, Leonard was a captain on Indiana's 1953 national championship team. He scored 12 points in that title game, including the game-winning free throw as the Hoosiers defeated Kansas 69-68. He averaged 16.3 points for IU during that championship season.
