Quick thoughts: Michigan State 42, Indiana 28

Indiana got a big play early, was able to hang around for a little while, but Michigan State had its best offensive performance of the season by a considerable margin and handed the Hoosiers a loss today in East Lansing, 42-28.

Michigan State had not scored more than 26 points against a BCS opponent all season, getting that against both Iowa and Western Michigan.

Indiana's fewest points of the season entering the game were 28 against Missouri.
