Willis Lost for Season

This one is going to hurt.

Indiana's chance to reach a bowl game took a hit Thursday when it was announced that sophomore RB Darius Willis would be lost for the season and will undergo surgery Oct. 20 to repair an injury to his patellar tendon. The medical staff expects a full recovery. Willis was the Hoosiers' leading rusher this year, rolling up 278 yards on the ground on 64 carries. He also scored four rushing touchdowns and averaged 4.3 yards per carry.
