6 of 9 favorites was what I had on paper yesterday. But all 3 of my dogs were prohibitive, while I had only one prohibitive favorite. All the rest of my favorites were only moderately so.
It only takes a couple of those to not come through to have a bad weekend. I figured I'd lose at least 1, but was hoping I could avoid 2. Kansas was the killer because I thought they'd be relatively safe on their homecourt. Boise I could see coming.
I had to get a big comeback from Mia-O, or I would have had a disastrous weekend. I still have the possibility of Dayton upsetting @ St.Joe's to salvage a mediocre weekend, but Dayton has been bad on the road.
So my chances took a hit this weekend. Prior to yesterday, my "plan" to get to 100 wins before the tournies included only 1 more loss for Kansas and Boise to get to 10 wins. That just got a lot tougher for those 2 teams.
