New version of it, much better with more options.
To add your email as a link in your signature:|
<a href="mailto:your email address">Your name as you want it to appear</a>
To post pictures, gifs, etc.
<img src=web address of the picture>
To find the web address of the picture you wish to use, right click on the picture, go to properties, and copy and paste the URL. If you arrived at the picture from a thumbnail, most of the time you can just right click on the thumbnail and choose 'copy shortcut', then paste it. To avoid broken links when posting pictures, use the 'Preview Message' button below. If the picture doesn't show up in the Preview Message box, then it will not be in your post. Remember that if you are using text with or many pictures in one post, you will need to seperate them with a space (the <br> command, explained below)
To center your text or image, or anything else, simple:
To make your type bold or in italics:
Bold <b> Italics <i>
To change your font size:
<font size=15> I always use 15, it really doesn't matter, you can't make it huge on the Rivals network in posts.
To change your font color:
<font color=number of the font you wish to use> I don't know what the codes are, but I'm sure you can find them somewhere. I am pretty sure that red is FF0000.
To post a link besides the easy method that is provided (if you wish to link more than one item):
<a href="web address of your link">Name of your link </a>
If you wish for that link to open in a new window, you will need to do that command like this:
<a href="web address of your link" target="_blank">Name of your link </a>
To make a space other than just hitting enter:
<br> This command is also good if you are posting text along with a picture. If you don't create a space, it will all run together, and be side by side. With this command, you can put the text on top of or underneath the picture, or a picture on top of or underneath a picture.
To make your smilies bigger:
After you choose the smiley, just add either height=X or width=X, X being a number. You can experiment with this to find out what numbers do what. Start with around 50.
To start a new paragraph:
<p>, this command is basically two <br>'s.
With the font color, bold, italics, and center commands, you will have to cancel them after you use them (or the rest of your post will stay in bold, etc.). To cancel these commands, just type the command, and put / in front of it, following the first <.
This: This post is <b><i>very</b></i> informative. Will look like this:
This post is very informative.
Just one more tidbit of information, each time you edit your post, it puts "this post was edited on whatever time." If you go in to edit your post again, you can actually erase the previous one, so if you edit your post 5 or 6 times, you don't have that line in there 5 or 6 times.
