Thanks to recent news and schedule releases from the Legend's Classic and several non-conference opponents, we know much more about Indiana's non-conference slate than we did even a week ago. We'll summarize how things shape up to this point.

That non-conference schedule detail is listed in the table below. Under the opponent column, if you click on the team name you will be sent to that team's men's basketball page on Rivals.com where you can see last season's results, news headlines, team reports, prior year's stats and much more.

Four of the non-conference games are part of the Legend's Classic that concludes with a pair of games at the new Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. Click here for the complete schedule and brackets for this November event.

All game times are ET:

That totals to 12 games and a year ago the Hoosiers played 13 non-conference contests. So we may be down to one game to be determined as well as any exhibition game opponents. Let us know if you are aware of any games we've not yet added.

As far as the Big Ten schedule, we only know a few things as the conference will keep a tight lid on it until a news release comes out, likely in about 1-2 weeks time from now. Here's a couple items of note:

  • This will be the second year of single plays so we already know Indiana will not go to Wisconsin and Nebraska and will not host Illinois or Northwestern. All the other Big Ten teams will play the Hoosiers twice.
  • It was announced earlier this week by ESPN that College GameDay would come to Indiana on February 2nd for a Saturday night 9 p.m. game when the Hoosiers host Michigan.
