The kick game cometh: Part I
Editor's note: WVSports.com takes a look at the kicking game this week as West Virginia hosts Cincinnati Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m. in an ESPNU-televised Big East game. Tuesday, head coach Bill Stewart said the Big East match-up would come down to field position. The early line has West Virginia favored by seven.
MORGANTOWN--The subject was kickoffs and the kickoff team coach cringed. For the second week in a row, West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart was asked to defend his group, and again Tuesday, he admitted there was no real defense.
"This will be something--you will have the best kickoff team in the conference going against the worst kickoff team in the nation," said Stewart, only half-jokingly, during his regularly scheduled press conference at the Puskar Building.
