Not even healthy, Oladipo still special

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Nearly half an hour had passed since the final horn sounded on the Indiana basketball team's fourth victory over a top-10 team this season, and Victor Oladipo was standing on the Michigan State court in a gray jacket, waiting to head to the team bus.

The junior who was not even 100 percent after an ankle injury suffered Saturday against Purdue, the player who Michigan State's Derrick Nix suggested earlier in the wasn't all that special, shrugged off the silliness of bulletin-board material and focused on what the top-ranked Hoosiers accomplished on the court.

For the second consecutive road game against a top-10 opponent, Oladipo was special.

"The MVP of this league, Oladipo, made every play when he needed to," Tom Izzo said.
