Kent Taylor backed out of Notre Dame's junior day last weekend but that didn't stop head coach Brian Kelly from offering a scholarship to the tight end from Land O'Lakes, Fla., on Tuesday. Taylor figures to be one of the top tight ends in the country during this cycle and will be recruited that way by the Irish. Taylor hopes to return the favor by visiting in early April.
