Is Green about to be cleared?
Sources close to the situation involving A.J. Green have confirmed to UGASports that the Bulldog wide receiver did in fact sell a jersey to a private collector.
According to sources, Green has paid back the $1,000 for the cost of the jersey and the school is now waiting final word from the NCAA as to whether or not there will be any further sanctions.
Georgia held Green out of last week's game against Louisiana-Lafayette.
Earlier Tuesday, head coach Mark Richt said he expected a final decision on Green to be made prior to Saturday's game against South Carolina.
Sources say the jersey incident is the only issue the NCAA is associating with Green.
More news at it becomes available.
