Morgan cares more about winning than milestone
EAST LANSING - Michigan State senior Raymar Morgan has been the best player on the floor for Michigan State in each of their last two games against Purdue and Penn State. Without Morgan's work in the paint, on the glass, and as passer out of the high post, the Spartans would not be playing for a piece of the Big Ten championship on Sunday against rival Michigan.

Morgan's 16 points made him just the fifth player in Michigan State history to score 1,500 points and register 700 rebounds. Morgan reached the 700 rebound plateau against Ohio State. He reached the 1,500 point plateau with a pair of clutch free throws in the final minute of play against Penn State.
"It's a big accomplishment, but I am just happy that we won because that is my main goal," said Morgan. "As long as we get the 'W' I am happy at the end of the day."
